This special issue will present recent advances in all areas of Optimization and its applications. The issue will be based on extended versions of contributions presented at the International Conference on Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (ICAMCS2024), in honor of Professors Pham Dinh Tao and Le Thi Hoai An for the 40th birthday of DC (Difference of Convex functions) programming and DCA (DC Algorithm), which took place in Hanoi, Vietnam on December 20-21, 2024. The deadline for submission is March 31, 2025.

Main topics of interest are the following:

    • Mathematical programming and optimization: theory, methods and software
    • DC programming and DCA
    • Operations research and decision making
    • Optimization in Machine learning and Data science

Applications of Optimization in Biology and bioinformatics, Communication systems, Economy and finance, Engineering systems, mechanic, manufacturing and robotic systems, Medicine and health care, Network security, Transport logistics, supply chain management, production planning and scheduling, Social network, Web intelligence and interaction.

All manuscripts will be subjected to the high standards of the refereeing procedure of Optimization Letters managed by the guest editors. The manuscripts should be submitted through the electronic submission system https://www.editorialmanager.com/optl

When submitting your paper, be sure to specify that the paper is a contribution for the Special Issue of ICAMCS 2024, and select the Article Type: ‘S.I.: ICAMCS2024’ so that your paper is assigned to the guest editors.
